What I Believe...
Have you ever questioned just what it is you actually believe? I mean, have you ever found yourself in a situation where you really had to stop and think about what it is you consider to be your truth? Have you ever been in a place where fear stepped in and you seemed to lose your ability to think rationally and any faith you may have had seemed to just vanish? I have…
Some of us spend much of our lives seeking to find God, to find a spiritual awakening and to finally find that place of inner peace we have sought since the beginning of time. I have had quite a spiritual journey in seeking who God is and who I am in the mind of God. I looked over here for awhile and found religion. I looked over there for awhile and found a new philosophy. But what do I believe?
I believe religion doesn’t hold the only set of keys to the kingdom of heaven.
I believe that man was created to live his life in abundance and great joy.
I believe that I create my experiences through the very thoughts I think and through my actions. I believe “we are not punished for our sins, but by our sins.”
I believe what I focus my mind upon becomes my reality.
I believe that goodness always wins out in the end – no matter how things may appear to the human eye.
I believe that when I am willing to be of service to others in life, goodness and unspeakable abundance shall follow me all the days of my life.
I believe that when all seems to be going wrong in my life, I have missed the mark and chosen wrongly. God did not move from my presence, but I removed myself from God’s.
When we lose our way, it’s because we have forgotten who we are. What I have learned is that no matter where I seek to know God – to know love and peace – it is never outside myself. Know what you believe. Live what you believe to the best of your ability. The world is hungry for a Spirit of love and compassion. Share your heart and soul with those you meet along the way…
